What is RASCL?

The Delaware Resilient And Sustainable Communities League (RASCL) is a collaborative network of state agencies, nonprofits, and academic institutions that convenes partners, leverages limited resources, and coordinates efforts to build a more resilient and sustainable Delaware.

What Does RASCL Do?

RASCL supports all Delaware communities in taking the necessary actions to thrive in the face of a rapidly changing climate through collaboration, information sharing, and technical assistance.

Guided by our commitment to shared learning, holistic planning, and authentic engagement, we empower local partners with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to prepare for the future.

Our work centers on three core areas:

  • Climate Resilience — helping communities understand risks, plan ahead, and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Sustainable Land Use & Infrastructure — supporting thoughtful development and investments that protect people, places, and natural systems.
  • Hazard Mitigation & Emergency Management — improving preparedness, reducing risk, and strengthening response and recovery efforts.
