Volunteers aid with cleanup in Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania

The Schuylkill Scrub is a watershed-wide cleanup initiative that takes place every March 1 through May 31.

The Schuylkill Scrub is now part of the Great American Cleanup of PA. Together, we are working to clean up and beautify the entire state of Pennsylvania.

Join us for a cleanup, or register your own cleanup. Your efforts will help prevent trash from making its way into our drinking water sources and keep our land and waters clean, litter-free, and beautiful.

Check out our stats from 2018:

  • Number of events: 819
  • Volunteers: 20,744
  • Pounds of trash removed: 959,917
