• April 20, 2006 – "Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs) in American Eels from the Delaware River, USA"
This study details how American eels from the Delaware River were used to assess the levels of PBDE contamination between the Delaware Bay and Delaware Water Gap, a limited home range for the species. Eels were chosen for their reliability as bio-indicators of PCB pollution within water bodies. Download this file here (PDF file).
