Science & Technical Advisory Committee: Reviews and Briefs

One of the responsibilities of the Science and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) is to assist PDE and its partners in reviewing the scientific content of environmental documents or the scientific knowledge associated with “hot topic” issues that have a bearing on our CCMP implementation efforts.  In response to review requests, the STAC either provides a written brief or provides guidance for PDE to draft comments.  The table below lists some of these briefs and comment letters, which are available for download. 

The content of STAC briefs reflects the best consensus of the STAC and should not be taken as reflecting the views of any individual STAC member.  In cases where principal authors are identified, those individuals served to coordinate and synthesize comments, providing convenient points of contact for follow-up questions.  Similarly, the content of PDE letters typically relies on STAC information, but does not reflect the views of any individual STAC member.
