Lisa Wool

Outreach Programs Director

Lisa Wool began working at the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary as a program specialist in 1999. Since that time she has been promoted to outreach programs director and, as such, she is responsible for managing much of the organization’s educational outreach. Over time this has included the Delaware Estuary Watershed Teacher Workshop, a mini-grant program, numerous river cleanups and a variety of pollution-prevention programs surrounding stormwater runoff, the leading cause of water contamination in the Delaware Estuary. Prior to the PDE, Wool worked for Delaware Greenways, Delaware State Parks, and the Delaware Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Office of Wetland Rehabilitation.

Wool holds a bachelor of science degree concentrating on wildlife conservation from the University of Delaware. She enjoys home improvements and volunteering for animal and environmental causes.
