Coastal Watersheds Coordinator
Kaitlin Tucker is PDE’s Coastal Watersheds Coordinator. In this role, she mainly works with communities and partners on projects to improve water quality and coastal resilience. She also develops outreach products for the public that incorporate PDE’s science. She has experience facilitating workshops on wetlands, nature-based solutions, monitoring, and other scientific topics.
Tucker joined the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary in 2016, first as a monitoring fellow. She has a Master’s Degree in Marine Studies at the University of Delaware where she researched variations in carbon burial across tidal marshes of Delaware. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science from North Carolina State University, with minors in both Environmental Science and Geology.
Tucker enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
