Beatrice O’Hara

Wetland Fellow

Beatrice O’Hara recently joined the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary as a Wetland Fellow. Here, she supports the Wetland Coordinator with conducting field assessments of tidal wetland conditions and monitoring.

O’Hara earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Master of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences in addition to a Master’s Certification in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2017.  O’Hara completed her research thesis on salt marsh sediment carbon stocks and accumulation rates in the Delaware Bay.

O’Hara previously worked with the Delaware Geological Survey as a GIS Analyst.  O’Hara also has 10-plus years of experience in program management, project management and process improvement with General Electric.

O’Hara and her husband reside in the West Chester, Pennsylvania.  She is an ardent animal lover and enjoys horticulture and biking.
