Science Programs Manager
Angela Padeletti joined the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary in 2008 and has since risen to the position of science programs manager. She is currently working on several projects. These include the:
- Delaware Estuary Living Shoreline Initiative
- Freshwater Mussel Recovery Project
- Mid-Atlantic Coastal Wetlands Assessment project
- Researching the services provided by shellfish
Padeletti brought two previous job experiences with her to the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary. She worked for the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control as a naturalist at Cape Henlopen State Park. She also worked for the University of Maryland as a faculty research assistant studying zooplankton and oysters. This provided her with the knowledge she needed to better understand environments like headwaters, the ocean, and the complex Delaware Estuary in between.
Padeletti holds a bachelor of science degree with a concentration in ecology from Lehigh University. She is originally from Rochester, New York, but now lives in Wilmington, Delaware, with her husband and daughter.
