| From time to time, everyone likes to get outdoors and get back to nature, and when you travel in the process, that’s called “ecotourism.” The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary is committed to furthering ecotourism as a means to introduce people to the Delaware Estuary and its natural wonders worthy of conservation. We encourage you to explore the websites below to learn about destinations, events and ecotours throughout Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. |

In April of 2007, the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary unveiled ecoDelaware.com, a new website promoting ecotourism events and destinations throughout the State of Delaware. The mission of ecoDelaware.com is to increase awareness, appreciation and, ultimately, environmental stewardship for the Delaware Estuary and similar river-to-sea watersheds. Visit today to discover all you can see and do in the First State. For more information and to submit a destination, event or photograph, please contact Shaun Bailey at SBailey@DelawareEstuary.org. |

A wide array of communities lie between the City of Philadelphia and rural Schuylkill County, 128 miles to the northeast, but they all have one thing in common: the Schuylkill River, otherwise known as "the Revolutionary River." This region was designated as a Pennsylvania State Heritage Area in 1995 and a National Heritage Area in 2000. Nowadays its gateway is www.SchuylkillRiver.org, a website that can provide you with all the insight you will need to plan your own travel itinerary. Visit today to see all the Schuylkill River Watershed has to offer, or click here to suggest your own event. |
