2012 Wilmington Earth Day Celebration

The Wilmington Earth Day Celebration is an annual festival held outdoors in Rodney Square featuring dozens of "green" vendors from throughout the tri-state region. This year's festivities will take place on April 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine.

This event is a terrific opportunity to gain insight into everything from gardening to hybrid automobiles -- all while on your lunch break. The many vendors on hand will be offering a variety of sustainable products and tips for the home, workplace, and roadway.

Other attractions will include:

  • a raffle prize
  • kids crafts
  • children's programs at the Wilmington Public Library
  • a live radio broadcast by
    WJBR 99.5 FM
  • music and much more
