Mussel Hatchery Construction Project Manager

The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary (PDE), a regional nonprofit organization primarily funded by the EPA, and based in Wilmington, Delaware, has a position open for a Mussel Hatchery Construction Project Manager.

The Mussel Hatchery Construction Project Manager, who reports to the PDE’s Senior Science Director, is the point person in the planning, designing and construction of PDE’s Fresh Water Mussel Hatchery. The construction project manager will manage the design and construction of a full-scale hatchery, based on an existing exhibition hatchery, and manage the project’s budget, schedule and permitting process.

Strong organizational skills, demonstrated experience in managing large and complex projects and at least 10 years of experience working in the engineering and construction industry are a must. A job description is attached. This is a two-year temporary, full-time exempt salaried position that pays $78,000 per year.
