July 9th, 2018 Event

Teachers, get ready for an experience.

This month, Partnership for the Delaware Estuary will offer workshops around Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey that will get you out into nature so you can bring nature into the classroom. You can earn professional development credits, and have fun doing it.

Three Days, Three States, One Experience

On July 16, 17 and 18, PDE will offer Three Days, Three States, One Experience. Explore Wild and Scenic New Jersey on July 16 and take a cruise along the Maurice River in Millville. On July 17, We’ll go to check out PDE’s living shoreline installation at the Mispillion Harbor and then venture to Dover to talk about how to adapt your lessons to the next generation. The July 18 workshop goes to Philadelphia where teachers will get a tour around the city to look at various projects that address flooding and pollution and tour the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center.

Cost is $30 per workshop, or $80 to attend all three workshops. For more information, contact Brittany Musolino at bmusolino@delawareestuary.org, or call (302) 655-4990, ext. 112. Register by going to www.delawareestuary.eventbrite.com.
