South Jersey Scrub

April 7 - April 14

Scrub: a strategic, organized cleanup initiative that targets a particular watershed, county, or region. A scrub is a way for people to take action together in one or more individual cleanup events over a period of time, for big impact. A scrub can last just one day or several months.

Join PDE and many partners, including the New Jersey AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassadors, as they host community cleanups during AmeriCorps Week!

Why South Jersey?
We know there are different interpretations of what “southern” New Jersey is, or if central New Jersey even exists (it does). This spring, our partners are gathering to remove trash from Trenton down to Cape May. These Delaware River Watershed communities are particularly important because of their coastal tributaries and marshes.

Visit sjscrub.org to register your own community cleanup or check out scheduled cleanups in your area! *Website will be updated with locations in March*
