"Clean Water Begins and Ends With You" Drawing Contest
Draw
an illustration showing the prevention or environmental impacts of stormwater runoff
pollution and you could win a prize!
Stormwater runoff pollution occurs whenever rainwater washes over
the land on its way into streams and rivers. This rainwater washes
pollutants off the land, including motor oil, fertilizers, litter and much more. These pollutants are then carried directly into streams
and rivers, usually by way of storm drains.
The first-place drawings for each contest will be used in ad campaigns celebrating the anniversary of Earth Day. These advertisements will appear on buses operated by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, or SEPTA, and DART First State.
Other prizes to be awarded at ceremonies in April include framed certificates, a variety of art supplies, gift cards ranging from $25 to $100 and more. Plus...
The first school to submit 100 or more qualified entries
prior to the deadline
will receive a $500 gift card for school supplies.
Your drawing could be featured in a big-city ad campaign and seen by thousands of people!
