2014 Pennsylvania Coast Day

Thank you for your interest in Pennsylvania Coast Day, a free festival hosted by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary at Philadelphia’s Penn's Landing. We are working hard to plan next September's event, which we anticipate will be even better than 2014. Last year, for example:

  • Over 800 adventurers paddled Penn's Landing in a kayak or pedal boat. That’s over 300 more than last year!

  • At least 400 passengers enjoyed a narrated tour of the Delaware River aboard a RiverLink Ferry boat.

  • Over 350 visitors toured the Independence Seaport Museum.

  • Almost 350 people completed the Wonders of Water Challenge for a prize.

  • Almost 150 festival goers set sail on the Delaware River aboard the Patriot tour boat. This was a first for our event!

  • Almost 120 Philadelphians explored the Fairmount Water Works thanks to the festival’s free shuttle bus.

See all that Pennsylvania Coast Day has to offer in our updated photo gallery, or click the slideshow above.

Please contact Melissa Bittner for more information, or to become an exhibitor, free of charge. Also, be sure to visit our "Outdoor Fun" Web page for similar festivals throughout the Delaware Valley.
