In early 2008, Cheryl Jackson returned to her home state of Delaware to begin working as a program specialist at the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, a nonprofit environmental organization working to protect and conserve the tidal Delaware River and Bay.
Jackson has worked in environmental education and conservation for more than a decade, having earned valuable experience at: the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Delaware Museum of Natural History, HawkWatch International, and Sutton Avian Research Center.
Jackson is a graduate of the University of Delaware where she earned her bachelor of science degree in entomology, a concentration in wildlife conservation, and a minor in biology. Today she lives in Wilmington and enjoys bird watching, Philadelphia Flyers games, and spending time with family and friends.
