Shaun Bailey

 

In 2005, Shaun Bailey was hired as the first marketing and communications specialist on staff at the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary. His chief duties include publicizing the education and outreach efforts of the Partnership, acting as editor of the organization's newsletter, and maintaining this expansive website. He is also an acting member of the public relations committee associated with the Delaware Bay Oyster Restoration Project. And he is responsible for furthering the nonprofit's ecotourism goals throughout the tri-state region, mainly through ecoDelaware.com.

Bailey is a 2004 graduate of Michigan State University and holds a bachelor of arts degree in advertising, specializing in public relations, as well as a master of science degree in park, recreation, and tourism resources management. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, as well as a certified park and recreation professional registered with the National Recreation and Park Association. Today, Bailey lives with his wife, Jamie, in Wilmington, Delaware, where claims the distinction of being perhaps the only Detroit Lions fan in the entire First State.
