Thank you for participating in the Philadelphia Water Department’s art contest.  The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary is no longer accepting entries at this time.  Even so, we encourage you to keep protecting Philadelphia’s hidden streams.

We received almost 1,400 entries this year. First-place drawings will appear inside buses and subway cars during a year-round advertising campaign.  They will also be displayed inside the Philadelphia International Airport’s Youth Art Gallery next winter. Millions of people will see them.

A total of 12 drawings have been published in a calendar. These are available for free inside the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center. Winning videos are featured in this calendar as well. They have also been posted to Flickr and YouTube for all to see.

Please revisit this Web page in the future to see how you can win prizes for your drawings and short videos.  Together, we can stop pollutants like litter, motor oil, and dog waste from flowing into Philadelphia’s hidden, underground streams, the Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers, and the Delaware Bay.
